Initial

When you come to The New Southfields Clinic for the first time, you will have a consultation with Adrian and a treatment. This will take about 45 minutes. The aim of the consultation is to find out how and why your health has been compromised and how acupuncture may be able to stimulate your body’s own repair mechanisms to work more effectively. The treatment will begin this process. You will discuss further treatments with him and how many might be necessary.

Follow Ups

Once you have had your initial consultation, further appointments will take about 30 minutes of which 20 minutes will be taken up with you lying on a couch with needles inserted. The progress of your treatments will be discussed on each occasion and Adrian will help you to make sense of the changes that the acupuncture is making on your systems. 

Returning with a new problem?

If you return with a different problem some time after an initial course of treatments, you will not require an additional long appointment.

Prices

With effect from 1 May 2022

• First appointment - £80

• Subsequent appointments - £65

• Children & students - £35

If you need to cancel an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible, but at least one 24 hours.  If you need to cancel with less notice than that, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £30.

Insurance

Some private health care insurance companies will reimburse the cost of acupuncture treatments.  Others won't. Please consult your company about their approach.
